Our prohibition of CSAE and CSAM
The Orbit App explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sextortion, sexual trafficking of a child, soliciting sexual content from a child, or any conduct that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a person under 18.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)—including real, computer-generated or altered visual depictions of a minor in sexually explicit conduct—is prohibited. Nobody may create, upload, store, request, share, promote or link to CSAM through Orbit. Attempting to use Orbit to contact or groom a child is also prohibited.
Reporting a concern
In Orbit, open a conversation, select the safety shield, and choose Report. A received message can also be reported individually. Reports may be submitted confidentially and receive a reference number.
Anyone may report a child-safety concern to our designated child safety team at childsafety@qriscorp.com. Do not email suspected illegal imagery; report the account or message and preserve the reference number instead. For immediate danger, contact the Uganda Police Force or the appropriate local emergency authority.
How Qriscorp responds
Qriscorp prioritises child-safety reports, restricts access to report evidence, and takes proportionate action after obtaining actual knowledge. Action can include content removal, account restriction, suspension, permanent removal and preservation of evidence where required by law.
Confirmed apparent CSAM and credible child exploitation are escalated to the legally appropriate child-protection or law-enforcement authority, including the relevant regional authority or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children when applicable. Qriscorp cooperates with valid legal requests and applicable child-safety laws.
Enforcement and contact
Violations can result in immediate permanent account removal and referral to authorities. The designated point of contact for Google Play and other child-safety notifications is the Qriscorp Child Safety Team: childsafety@qriscorp.com.
