Be genuine and respectful
Use your own identity, communicate honestly, respect boundaries and accept silence or rejection without pressure. Disagreement is allowed; harassment, hate, threats, stalking and sexual coercion are not.
Keep people safe
Never share another person’s exact location or private information. Do not encourage violence, fraud, dangerous conduct or illegal activity. Sexual exploitation, content involving minors and attempts by under-18s to use Orbit are prohibited.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation
Orbit and Qriscorp explicitly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, sexual trafficking of children, and any attempt to use Orbit to sexually exploit or endanger a person under 18. See our complete child safety standards.
No spam or manipulation
Do not use Orbit for unsolicited advertising, mass messaging, scams, fake engagement, scraping, malware, impersonation or evading enforcement.
Block and report
Blocking immediately removes the connection and prevents discovery and messaging between both people. Use Report on a person or message for harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence, scams, impersonation, suspected underage use or another safety issue. In immediate danger, contact the Uganda Police Force or local emergency services; Orbit is not an emergency channel.
How moderation works
Reports receive a reference number and enter a restricted review queue. Trained authorised staff assess context and severity, preserve only necessary evidence, and may warn, remove content, restrict, suspend or permanently ban an account. Credible imminent harm may be escalated to lawful authorities. Appeals can be sent to safety@qriscorp.com.
